It's called The Coming is Near and it describes current events in the Middle East as a prelude to the arrival of the mythical tweflth Imam or Mahdi -- the messiah figure who Islamic scriptures say will lead the armies of Islam to victory over all non-Muslims in the last days.

But that's not true. That's not how it's supposed to go down.

First of all, there is very little on the Mahdi and it's all in the Hadith. The Mahdi is just a mortal man and he's not going to be leading armies of Islam crushing non-Muslims. The idea is that God will become apparent to all during the Mahdi's reign (helped by the Second Coming of Jesus) and everyone will willingly become Muslims.

If the Mahdi will lead any armies against anyone it would be against what is essentially the Antichrist in Christian lingo.
